Katy Perry seems to be having a jolly good knees-up in London at the moment (we were going to say something about a jolly Jubilee, but realised it was over. Sadface.). Take yesterday for example. She made a surprise appearance at a 3D screening of her own film, Part Of Me, then went to film her slot on The Graham Norton Show (with Chezza) and then had a date with her new man, Robert Ackroyd.

How she's not absolutely shattered and hiding in her hotel bathroom waiting for room service we don't know.

She's almost as busy as Rihanna which is a bit scary considering she's just had to cancel a 10 week trip to Britain reportedly because of exhaustion.

This is hugely sad because she and Katy Perry are really close - to the extent that in a recent radio interview Katy said she didn't know whether they'd ever collaborate musically, "but we're goin g to have sex."

She might need to make room for Cheryl in that love-in though because after appearing with Katy on Graham's sofa, Cheryl tweeted, "I love @katyperry #thatisall"

Katy reciprocated with: "Twitter contest. Pick a Geordie to follow on twitter: @realrossnoble or @CherylCole go with your heart. Not just cause Cheryl's prettier". (Ross Noble is also appearing on the show, which is on BBC1 tonight,in case you wondered if she'd just picked him out of nowhere completely randomly.)

This looks a bit awkward, but we know there's true love underneath

 

And look at the pictures of them together! It almost beats this picture of Katy and Rihanna. (Almost).

Earlier in the day Katy had surprised a group of fans by turning up at a 3D screening of her film, Part Of Me. She seems like the nicest girl in the world in this video. Have a watch below if you don't believe us.

 

After surprising her fans, then filming with Graham and Cheryl, Katy met up with her new bloke, Florence and The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, for a date at The Wilton Music Halls and then the Market Cafe Pub in Hackney. They stayed out until 1am before returning to Katy's hotel.

And she was STILL wearing a ring on her wedding finger, like she did last night.

We hope that when they got back to her room there was a heart-shaped balloon tied to the door with "love Cheryl" written on it in felt tip pen.
