Myleene Klass can't understand why marriage is over and friends fear for her health

Shattered Myleene Klass has been left “heartbroken and humiliated” by her husband’s walkout.

Family and friends fear for her health ­because she is unable to sleep and has zero ­appetite as she prepares for a bitter divorce battle with Graham Quinn.

The TV star has told friends she feels humiliated by his shock decision to walk out on her and their two children after six months of marriage.

And she has now moved out of the £3.2million North London home they shared and put it up for sale, finding it too painful to set foot back inside.

Myleene is mystified why Graham, known as Gray, packed his bags and moved out on her 34th birthday on April 6.

A friend has told the Sunday Mirror: “Myleene has hit rock bottom. She can’t believe this has happened to her and that he’s walked out on 11 years of being in a relationship. She’s mostly hurt about their baby girls and has no idea what Gray’s playing at. She says he’s turned his bac k on her.

“Her friends and family are ­worried whether she’ll be able to cope with a divorce, especially as it’s likely to turn nasty.”

The star’s mother and sister are now scared Myleene is close to a breakdown after spending nine weeks keeping the split a secret.

“She’s not herself at all,” added the friend. She’s completely broken by what has happened and can’t even begin to imagine a life as a single mother. This is something she never thought would happen to her.

“And Gray’s failed to give her any sort of acceptable explanation.”

Myleene, mother of Ava, four and Hero, 15 months, has also been left to explain to Ava where her Daddy has gone.

Graham, a security guard for touring music stars including Bruce Springsteen, JLS, The Saturdays and X Factor, is ­currently on tour with US rocker Bruce and has not yet had the chance to see his children since walking out.

The friend said: “He has no idea how hard it’s been for Myleene to hold everything together so the girls are not being affected. She’s been continually in tears, but she’s a fighter and her first priority is her babies.”

Her mother Magdalena and sister ­Jessie are becoming increasingly worried for her and say she’s lost more than a stone. They have also told friends Myleene is surviving on very little sleep.

“People were continually going up to Myleene and asking her what her diet secret is and how she’s got her bikini b ody back in shape,” said the friend.

“Until last week she laughed it off but the truth is she has no appetite. She’s lost a lot of weight quickly and everyone’s worried. She looks shattered constantly, but she’s desperate to hold things together for the kids. It’s frightening.”

The star, who rose to fame as part of Popstars winners Hear’Say, has spent the past nine weeks reorganising her life. Within days she moved out of the couple’s pad and moved in with friends. The source said: “She paid for ­everything throughout their marriage. Watches, Range Rovers, their wedding last ­October and clothes.

"It was all down to Myleene to pay for everything. And now he’s gone and got a house for himself and left her.

"There is no way back for their ­marriage. But Gray’s left her in an extremely tricky ­position. He’s ditched her and went off as if nothing was wrong.”

It has left Myleene wondering ­whether there is another woman involved, ­although this is something Gray has strenuously denied.

“Myleene still hasn’t got an answer,” added the source.

“You don’t just walk out on a family you’ve worked so hard for. You just don’t. She could understand if there was ­another woman involved â€" but Gray says there isn’t and it’s just a decision he came to himself, which has left her confused and bewildered.”

Myleene, who last week put on a brave face to host a family Jubilee festival in London, was furious to find this week that Gray, 38, had secretly bought a £500,000 bachelor pad in nearby Hertford.

The Irish-born bodyguard has also been in touch this week to say he would like to see the children.

Meanwhile, Myleene ha s pulled out of performing at the wedding of JLS star Marvin Humes and Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman, friends of the ex-couple.

She was due to play piano at the July church service at ­Blenheim Palace but ­Graham is an usher so she will stay away.

The source said: “Last time she was in a church she was getting married to Gray. It would kill her to watch a ­wedding go ahead like this. She’s so rawright now.

“The past few weeks have been the worst time of her life. How can he be ushering at somebody’s wedding when he’s done this to Myleene’s marriage?”

The couple’s relationship began in 2001, when Quinn was a ­bodyguard for Hear’Say. Within two years they split when it emerged he was ­technically on the run from Irish ­authorities after jumping bail following an arrest for heroin possession at 17.

They got back together within months and Graham â€" brother-in-law of Boyzone singer Keith Duffy â€" turned himself in. He was given a fine and suspended prison sentence and became a patron of charity Drugsline, visiting schools to talk about the dangers of narcotics.

Myleene, said to be worth £11million, released two hit solo classical albums after leaving Hear’Say and is a poster girl for Marks Spencer. She has also designed a range of baby clothes for Mothercare, hosted ITV reality show Popstar To Operastar and is launching a worldwide nail brand after huge ­success in the UK.

Sources close to the pair say Gray was constantly on tour and spent less than three months out of 14 at home. The time apart was starting to cause a rift.

“Myleene was left holding the babies, caring for them for months on end. Gray was on the JLS tour, the Saturdays tour, Bruce Springsteen’s last tour and back- to-back X Factor tours,” the pal said.

“He was never home and although their relationship has always been based on spending a lot of time apart, it was ­becoming a joke.

“Myleene hoped in time she would have been able to persuade him to stay home more. She needed help from him and he wasn’t prepared to spend more time at home.”
