So Miley Cyrus is getting engaged - hurray! We love a good romance and she and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth have been hugely smitten for over three years. What could go wrong? Well, um, quite a lot if you consider the below. We've collated a list of other celebrities who married in their teens or very early twenties - and the results aren't great, we'll be honest. Some of them are still together though. (When we say 'some' we mean 'none'. No, actually we mean 'one'. Phew, that's better. And it rhymed.)

16-year-old Courtney Stodden married 51-year-old Green Mile actor Doug Hutchinson in 2011. It wasn't only scandalous because of the age-gap, they raised more eyebrows with their overtly sexual photoshoots.

They're still together though, which is nice. See Miley - it can work! We're starting off positive.
