Matthew McConaughy is married, to Camila Alves. It happened, at a private ceremony in Texas last night.

Meaning not only were none of us invited, but McConaughey is officially off the market.

The couple have been dating and - judging by the whole kids thing â€" diddling, for six years now but tied the knot in front of close friends (eek!) and family (ow!) last night.

Matthew refers to Alves as “the love of [his] life” which is nice.

The ceremony is said to have taken place at the actor’s ranch, with guests staying in dozens of tents pitched outside. So Matthew McConaughey, right…

Matthew proposed to model Camila on Christmas Day last year and â€" if 3am hadn’t have been heavily sedated with mince pies - it damn well could have ruined the whole festive period.

According to People magazine McConaughey kept the wedding plans a secret and didn't even tell some guests about the ceremony until the last minute.

Which is why we’re probably still waiting on an invite, right?
