Alex Reid denies that he and Chantelle have split (drama, drama, drama)

 

Alex Reid has denied claims that fiancée Chantelle Houghton has left him .

It was alleged that the pregnant reality star had walked out on him and the couple's £600,00 house after a big showdown, and moved into an unfurnished flat in Essex.

Alex released a statement on his official website confirming that the couple are still engaged that read: "Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton are still very much together and very much in love. Reports that they have split are untrue."

Oh, okay. It went on...

"Alex and Chantelle are looking forward to the birth of their little girl in June." Which is great news, hurrah for that and them.

It's not the first time the couple have fought back against rumours of a split mind. Indeed Chantelle is believed to be going on This Morning, um, tomorrow morning (Monday 21st May) to set the record straight.

Chantelle Houghton, 28, was reported to have walked out on fiancé Alex weeks before the couple’s baby is due.

A friend of the couple said: “'She [Chantelle] is absolutely devastated. She is in a complete state. She has moved back into her flat where she feels safe. She won't tell any of us what Alex has done.

“Whatever happened must be catastrophic because she's never have fled her home without good reason.”

Ahh friends...

Chantelle has

 not yet commented on the alleged split  but did Tweet: “Karma is a b***h and I'm so glad it is cos people only find out how much of a b***h it is when its too late and they've hurt u” on Wednesday last week.

Um, which could mean anything really.  She has been pictured out and about on her own a lot recently though...

Someone please help her with her bags already!

The  reality TV star has spoken out about rumours  that she and cage fighter Alex’s engagement is off in her OK! magazine column of late though, writing: “The wedding is not off and I don’t know which “friend” or associate is saying these things. It’s a bit of a b*tch.”
