'She's a devil': Lady Gaga scraps sell-out show after threat from extremists

Lady Gaga has cancelled a ­sell-out gig in Indonesia after Muslim extremists ­threatened violence if she performed.

The Islamic Defenders Front said her raunchy dance moves and revealing clothes would corrupt youngsters.

It said supporters had bought tickets to the 50,000-ticket show with the intention of bringing it to a halt.

The group also threatened to get thousands of protesters to confront the singer, 26, on her way from the airport to the Born This Way Ball gig.

Lawyer Minola Sebayang said: “This is not only about Lady Gaga’s security, but extends to those who will be watching her.”

The Islamic Defenders Front declared “victory”, adding: “Thanks to God for protecting us from a devil.”

But fan Johnny Purba, 25, said: “Gaga’s show will not hurt anyone.

"For God’s sake, she’s not a terrorist.”

Those due to attend Sunday’s gig in Jakarta were offered a full refund.
