Keira Knightley can’t hide her ­delight as she shows off her ­engagement ring for the first time during a stroll in the sun with rocker husband-to-be James Righton, 28.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star looks as though she’s slipped into the role of happy fiancee with ease as she and Klaxons star James walk arm in arm in London the day after the ­announcement.

Her ring appears to be a simple diamond solitaire and pals say the couple are overjoyed.

“Keira’s on cloud nine,” said a friend. “She met James ­almost by luck and didn’t think it would amount to the great love of her life. But she’s blissfully happy.

“They’ve been engaged a few weeks. All her close friends knew. They won’t be getting married immediately â€" but they won’t be hanging around too long.”

The Sunday Mirror broke the news that the pair were ­together 15 months ago. Keira, 27, ­previously dated Pride and Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend.
