Don’t worry things haven’t taken an even stranger turn, as our headline could suggest â€" Chantelle hasn’t been linked to a load of females lacking in sexual morals â€" no, Alex has been talking to the Loose Women of ITV, who actually.. no, never mind.

In what is around the 89th update on their relationship, Alex went onto Loose Women to deny he and Chantelle were having problems and insist they were still very much together, that everything is "fandabidozi" and they are "just over the moon and hug each other all the time".

“There’s a lot of crap out there at the moment and a lot of media manipulation,” Alex said of the situation he’s basically caused and encouraged himself by living off of the press.

“We actually both feel like they’re trying to split us up almost, because drama sells. We’re a normal couple and we row, just so happens we’re in the papers.”

And it just so happens if they weren’t they wouldn’t be living in that big old house they’re in , wouldn’t be driving their expensive cars and wouldn’t be able to buy their new baby all the dummies, nappies and designer togs she they could wish for.

This little aspect of Alex and Chantelle existence was pointed out to him and he did admit to understanding that, saying it was probably best if they gave the paps the shots they wanted, but also would be advisable if they both stopped Tweeting on the subject in anger.

However, Alex claims he’s just too much of a caveman an alpha male to not get annoyed at Tweets he believes are probably from journalists trying to goad him.

“I’m a very protective man over my fiancé and my baby,” he said by way of explanation for his numerous outbursts on Twitter.

Alex also confirmed that Chantelle isn’t best pleased right now â€" something we’ve all seen by evidence of her miserable face and the fact she's spoken about hiding in a cupboard.

“Right now she’s not [happy] because she just wants to pop,” he said in his usual delicate manner about the imminent arrival of their first child together.

Oh and after that he did a bit of talking about his single that’s he promoting, the release of which just happens to coincide with all this Chantelle break up stuff . What are the chances, eh?
