Becks is back in London. Hurray! And what did the first ever male Elle cover star do upon his return to his glorious homeland? Visit his nan of course! 

He posted the above picture onto his facebook page with the caption, "Great to be back in London. Paid a surprise visit to see my gran."

And if that was family friendly enough, he then wrote, "As I'm sure you would have expected, I had a pie and mash lunch today with my mum. There is nothing better."

If Becks gave his mum his beret she'd look like a French cartoon character

 

Pie and mash with this man? You're right, David, there genuinely isn't anything better.

A behind-the-scenes shot from the Elle shoot

The pictures from David's Elle shoot were released yesterday and feature in this month's magazine.

And they're basically the reason that cameras were invented.

And he didn't just pose, oh no, he talked a bit too: "Fashion has always been in my life. Over the years I've worn great clothes and having a wife that's in fashion has pushed me more into that side of things and into that lifestyle."

Having a pretty trendy gran can't have hurt either. Although we can't be 100% sure which of those lovely ladies is his gran, but they're all pretty trendy.

Oh to be one of those lovely ladies. Or that man standing at the back. We don't blame you for sneaking into the shot sir, he is very handsome.
