Have a stare at the artists going head to head in The Voice semi final

Wow. So we've cruised through the live shows and all the singers in Jessie J, will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny's teams have gone head to head every other week.

Sunday's show saw Jessie J and Danny being forced to ditch two acts each, with Cassius, Toni, Aleks and David being sent home.

The week before, Tom and Will had to show Adam, Matt and Sueleen, Joelle and Frances the door.

Their remaining acts are now through to the semi final, with Jessie, Will, Danny and Tom having two acts each ahead of the pen-ultimate round.

With the teams changing so much every other week, it's easy to forget exactly who's left in at this stage. So let's take a look at all the singers ready to fight it out in next week's semi-final - starting with Team Jessie.

Blind Audition: Vince’s unique version of Madonna’s ‘Like A Virgin’ had all four coaches bidding for him.

Battle Rounds: Vince V Jessica Hammond and sang ‘We Found Love’

Live Shows: Voted into the semi final by the public

Vince is influenced by Lady Gaga, Prince, Lauren Hill and Boy George. Vince hopes his career will hit the heights of his vocal range.

 

Becky Hill

Yup, Becky, you're in there

The Facts behind The Voice:

The Details: 18 from Kidderminster

Blind Audition, Becky raised the roof with a powerful performance of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People.’ Mr i.am and Jessie both swivelled their chairs for her.

Battle Rounds: She sang ‘Irreplaceable’ with duo Indie Pixie to win her place in the live shows.

Live Shows: Saved by Jessie and taken into the final

Becky’s a sixth form student, a singer/songwriter and a part-time barmaid in a pub, but now she’s ready to shine as solo artist.

Blind Audition: Sang Otis Redding’s ‘Sitting on the Dock of the Bay’ and a falsetto climax led to will.i,am pushing his button.

Battle Rounds: Tyler V Heshima Thompson sang ‘Yeah X 3’

Live Shows: Saved by Will and taken into the semi-final

As a close personal friend of Amy Winehouse, Tyler’s ambitions were thrown into focus after her death last year. He says that it was a wake-up call and he felt he needed to get back into music.

 

Jaz Ellington

The man who makes everyone blub: Jazz Ellington

The Facts behind The Voice:

The Details: 27 from London

Blind Audition: Jaz sang Ed Sheeran’s ‘A Team’ followed by an acapella rendition of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’ culminating in tears from the coaches and the crowd.

Battle Rounds: Jaz V Jay Norton sang ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’

Live Shows: Voted into the semi final by the public

Jaz’s singing started in church and now he runs gospel workshops. He says he wants to prove that looks do not count.

Leanne Mitchell 

Leanne Mitchell hopes to leave singing at holiday camps behind

Blind Audition: She belted out Beyonce’s ‘If I Were A Boy’ making Danny and Tom both turn their chairs.

Battle Rounds: Leanne V Barbara Bryceland sang ‘Edge Of Glory’.

Live Shows: Chosen by Tom to go into the semi final

Leanne’s day job is singing at a holiday park, which she loves, but she wants to follow in the footsteps of her inspirations Beyonce and Christina Aguilera and take her music from the seaside to the big time.

Blind Audition: Blew Tom away with her rendition of David Guetta’s ‘When Love Takes Over’

Battle Rounds: Ruth V Deniece Pearson sings ‘No One’

Live Shows: Saved by the public to go into the next round

Ruth was brought up with music-loving parents - she’s got music in her bones. Her ideal way to relax is to write songs. She has already sung in front of the most powerful man in Britain â€" the Prime Minister.

Max Milner

Max Milner's girlfriend didn't get through, but sod it - he did!

The Details: 21 from London

Blind Audition: sang a mash-up of Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ and ‘Come Together’ by The Beatles which led to Danny, Jessie and Will all turning for him.

Battle Rounds: Max V Bill sang ‘Beggin’

Live Shows: Saved by Danny twice (he must really believe!)

Currently carving out a career for himself in musical theatre, Max has played the lead in the UK tour of Footloose.

 

Bo Bruce

Bo Bruce is well posh but says she 'wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth'

The Details: 27 from Wiltshire

Blind Audition: Bo turned Usher and David Guetta’s ‘Without You’ on its head and gave it a chilled edge. Both will.i.am and Danny wanted her on their team.

Battle Rounds: B V Vince Freeman sang ; ‘With Or Without You’.

Live Shows: Saved by the public and voted into the semi final

After some wayward teenage years, Bo feels she has come a long way, bringing her to a crossroads that will determine the rest of her musical career.
