Amy Childs has tweeted this picture of herself with the caption, "Had all my hair cut off xxx #noextensions xxx", which very much reminds us of a similar picture Katie Price/Jordan tweeted of herself with her slightly bedraggled post-extension locks a while ago.
Amy pulled out a little cleavage in her shot and a snuggly dressing gown so she wins in the no-extensions glam-off competition which we just set up in the office for the sole purpose of this story.
Amy is famous for her boob-length purply/red hair, but we have to say we prefer the natural look. All of that gluing can't be good for one's scalp. (Ooh, we turned into the Queen for a moment there. It's Jubilee-inspired madness.)
Amy recently launched her new clothing range for Lipsy at Bluewater Shopping Centre. During the shindig she had about 1000 costume changes and wore pretty much every dress she'd designed.
She was wearing a wig at the event though, saying her hair "needed a breather" and she'd had to remove her extensions - leaving her a bit "nervous".
It looks nice! (Her real hair - not the wig. Although that's not actually that bad either.)
Amy's mate and ex-TOWIE co-star, Sam Faiers (who is currently living the life of Riley in Marbella), has released an autobiography called Living Life The Essex Way: TOWIE and Me, in which she said some rather unfriendly things about her good mate, Amy. Oops.
Amy responded, "I was upset to learn my friend Sam has written some not-so-nice things about me in her book. In it she claims I'm not the person she thought I was and said my management comes before my friends. I was very upset and hurt to read this, especially as she was messaging me on Twitter last week saying she misses me. I wish she had told me this beforehand so I didn't have to read it in a newspaper."
Awkward. But hey, at least you hair and dresses look nice, eh?
