David Beckham wants his kids to stay in America because celebrity spotlight is too intense back home

Posh and Becks may stay in America for years to come so their four children can grow up normally.

David Beckham said the family enjoy life in the US.

“The kids are a number one priority and for the last five years they have been ­incredibly happy here,” he said.

“They go to school and are treated like normal kids, whereas maybe in Europe it’s been different for us.

“The attention we had there as a family and on our kids was a lot more intense.”

Speaking at a lunch honouring the legends of his LA Galaxy team, he added: “For the kids to be brought up around this ­atmosphere and this way of living is the most important thing.”

David, 37, and Victoria, 38, are parents to Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, and Harper Seven, almost one.

The star also revealed he went out with the LA Kings hockey team and drank from the Stanley Cup, which the Kings won a few days ago.
