Best beach body? Women reckon it's Kelly Brook

Men love her and women want to be her â€" so much so they voted Kelly Brook their top beach body role model.

The curvy glamour star, 32, has the shape most girls want for their summer holiday, taking 14% of votes.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson was second with 8%, followed by TV presenter Louise Redknapp on 7%.

Of 2,000 people polled, 42% of women said their holiday would be ruined if they had not spent enough time on their beauty regime first.

And 47% would not step on the beach without make-up.

Pictures of celebrities are a major influence, the survey by QVC found.

Men are almost as bad, with 10% buying self-tan before they go away, 6% getting pedicures and 2% even having their eyelashes tinted or extended.

A QVC spokeswoman said: “Hitting the beach is a time when everyone wants to look and feel their best so preparing to bare is vital.”
