It never rains but it pours: Coleen’s defeated by the weather as she tries to take a walk in Poland

In a way it makes us feel a bit better that it’s not just Britain’s very green and not so pleasant right now shores that are drowning in precipitation â€" Poland is now too.

Although when we say drowning, that’s probably as light exaggeration, they’re basically having a bit of a shower and Coleen Rooney has been unlucky enough to step out of her hotel to go for a walk with ickle boy Kai just at the wrong moment.

She didn’t give up straight away though and had prepared Kai in his buggy with the waterproof hood â€" so he was alright.

But we suspect Coleen’s ballet pumps weren’t quite up to the amount of water hitting them. We know how she feels â€" we’re having terrible footwear issues right now â€" it’s too wet for flip flops but not cold enough for winter boots = what to do.

Well, if you’re Coleen you can just turn around and go back to your posh hotel and order loads of room service, maybe watch a film of your choice… get drunk in the bar â€" not that she would as a responsible mother of course.

Coleen is over in Poland because her husband Wayne is playing football in that Euro 2012 thingy all the men in the office are google eyed at 24 hours a day right now. As an aside, we’d just like to look at Wayne's hair for a bit...

As another aside, we’d like to inform Coleen that tomorrow and Saturday it should be sunny in Poland (we've never spent so much of our lives looking at weather forecasts - we're obsessed), so she’ll be able to take Kai to the pool for the day. We’ll still just be swimming along the streets of London.

Before Coleen gets her bikini out, she might like to look at the TOWIE lot's idea of poolside chic ... and then dress in the totally opposite way.
