Made In Jealousy: How does Louise feel about her ex Spencer being THE Bachelor!?

So why did new couple on the, err, Made In Chelsea avenue Louise Thompson and Spencer Matthews split?

Well, it had a little something to do with Spencer, 24 (twenty-phwoar) being announced as the new star of Channel 5's The Bachelor.

Yeah, that'll do it.

But Louise has answered back, kind of, to new! magazine - and revealed that the duo parted because they wanted different things (um, his wanting to be The Bachelor, one assumes).

Spencer Matthews on a yacht, yah. What's not to love...

There are no hard feeling really though, as Louise says: "Me and Spencer obviously aren’t together, but we’re very close friends and we still talk a lot."

"He is single. He’s fully single. He wouldn’t be doing The Bachelor if he wasn’t because I wouldn’t allow it if we were together."

Which is fair enough, in the whole scheme of dating on the tellybox rulebook thing.

She continued (we imagined breezy, breezy, breezily): “If he finds love on the show, it’s not going to make me feel great, but I mean if that’s what he wants...” (insert a *wail* he if you fancy)

She went on: "Now that filming’s finished and it’s the summer, I’ve got a lot of plans of my own, so I want to be independent.

'It wasn’t really a dumping thing. It just kind of happened. It was just a good idea. It was a mutual decision. My degree is my priority at the end of the day."

Right on. In fact, these two are handling the public break up so well, they've even jetted off on holiday together to St Barts - with MIC BFs and couple Hugo and Natalie.

Hmm.

Who will he choose!? The Spence' is killing us (just don't pull these moves on them, yeah)

This Chelsea lot area dab hand at break ups, even if Jaime (be still our beating hearts dang he's hot) Laing had to get a wee bit trampled on along the way.           

Jaime was 'diddling' Louise when Spencer stepped in (so to speak) in Dubai and, well, kinda put the brakes on Jamie and Lou's love affair.

Then 'he was like oh-no-you-didn't and she was like hell-yeah-I-did and Spencer's best mate said she did but he didn't that etc etc'...

Hmm, perhaps it's a good thing that this series is over, we're getting a little hooked on this lot and could do with a reality (TV) check...
