Tony Parker sues Drake and Chris Brown's fight club for $20million

Tony Parker sues Drake and Chris Brown's fight club for $20million

Just in case you've been living in a cave for the last two weeks let's explain what this 'fight' is all about.

Last week there was a MASSIVE punch-up between hip hop stars Drake and Chris Brown (who both have dated Rihanna in the past) and their entourages at New York nightclub W.i.P.

If they were standing this close in real life they wouldn't be this chilled out

Eight people were taken to hospital with injuries, including Hollie C below who had to have 16 stitches in her head after getting caught in the middle of it all.

Both stars are said to be "cooperating" with police.

Chris Brown even tweeted a picture of his cut up chin on Twitter - but has since removed it - while Drake mentioned the incident while performing in NY over the weekend: "When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things...But the only thing I gave a f*** about was that I was in New York City tonight!"

Anyway, that's the background - the new news is that basketball player Tony Parker is now suing the club for $20million.

According to website TMZ his lawsuit claims that the club should never have let Rihanna's exes in at the same time and that the club's security was negligent for allowing the brawl to happen.

The lawsuit was reportedly filed on Thursday in NY State Supreme Court against W.i.P Nightclub and both Chris Brown and Drake could end up as defendants.

Parker says he was hit by shards of glass when bottles began to fly and suffered lacerations to his cornea.

The suit says that the club management knew full well that there was "bad blood between Drake and Brown" but continued to sell both groups alcohol despite the fact that some were "visibly intoxicated".

The reason Parker is suing for such a whopping amount is because if his eye sight is damaged it could affect his $50million contract with his team, The San Antonio Spurs.

He's also in the Olympic French national basketball team which is will be playing, er, really pretty soon.

As for whether Chris or Drake will be added as defendants, Parker's lawyer told TMZ that he's waiting for the results of the police investigation and also wants to review the surveillance tape before making his decision.
