David Beckham revealed yesterday he would love to bring his family back to live in England soon.
The superstar said he and wife Victoria are âalways temptedâ to move back to Britain but insisted their childrenâs schooling takes priority for now.
The doting dad-of-four also admitted he is amazed at just how âfeminineâ his 10-month-old baby daughter Harper is and said he would like to add to his brood by maybe having âone or two moreâ.
âHarperâs a little heartbreakerâ, the 37-year-old smiled.
âWhen she comes into the room, everyone lights up around her and her face lights up. Itâs amazing to see.
âHaving three boys, itâs totally different now. Everyone says it will be different when you have a girl, but I never realised just how feminine girls are from a very young age.
âI know it sounds stupid, but they really are very feminine.
âEveryth ing that she does - she hardly cries to be honest - but the way she moves her hands, the little noises she makes, itâs totally different to having boys.
âWith three boys there is a lot of energy in the house. They are constantly on the go from the moment they wake up to the moment they sleep.
âBut Harper is totally different. She is relaxed and feminine.â
And he didnât rule out the chance of having more children with wife Victoria, laughing: âIf we have one or two more - two might scare Victoria but we will see.â
The LA Galaxy player has been travelling the world in recent weeks, collecting the London Olympic flame in Greece and helping Princess Anne deliver it to Cornwall for the start of the torch relay.
And he admitted that leaving his young family is always difficult, adding: âThey understand that I work away, theyâve always known that, but it never gets any easier.
âBut Iâve got hundreds of pictures of the kids with me - my phoneâs screensaver is one of the whole family.â
Becks, who will today be honoured by the FA for winning 115 caps for his country before England take on Belgium at Wembley added: âI always miss England and London, weâre always tempted to come home.
âBut we have four kids - three of them are in school - and theyâre at a critical time in their sc hooling but weâll see.
âWhether I continue to play or I donât ... at the moment I have no plans on finishing at the end of this season.
âI want to play for as long as possible and then weâll see.
âAt the end of the day, I always miss London - just having pie and mash with my Mum or Dad and visiting my Nan.
âWe always love coming home and weâre always tempted to come home so weâll see what happens.â
Becks yesterday made a surprise visit to Vaughan Primary School in Harrow, north-west London, to promote Sainsburyâs successful âMillion Kids Challengeâ which has got more than two million schoolchildren trying Paralympic sport ahead of this summerâs Games.
As the countdown to the Games continues, Becks admitted he had not yet been asked to light the Olympic cauldron - and said golden girl heptathlete Jessica Ennis was an inspiration to him.
He said: âJess is just amazing for me - sheâs a great girl and very down to earth, but so talented in what she does.
âThereâs a lot of athletes out there who are amazing, but I love Jess as a person. As an athlete, she is looked up to by so many people so itâll be exciting to watch her.â
